How to sign up

You can sign up for an account if you have a whoi.edu email address. If you don't, please contact one of your collaborators at WHOI to have an account created for you.

What projects belong here?

This server can be used to host non-sensitive code. When you create a project, you can decide who has access. If you'd like, you can make it public, or you can restrict it to specified users.

Both WHOI and non-WHOI people can have accounts, but non-WHOI accounts need to be manually created.

Who runs this?

This is managed by a handful of engineers and scientists in the Applied Ocean Physics and Engineering department who needed a way to share code. The server is hosted by WHOI IS.
